Well I don't know how they work. I downloaded Bitwarden. I went to put some info in and I realizedI don't know how it works. Is a paswsord anager just a storage tool? if I go to sign into a website, what do I put in? does the program recognize the url and automatically put in a password? probably pretty simple, but I dot see how it works. 01:04:02 Tom Trottier(gadfly): I believe you need a browser extension to put in passwords 01:04:12 Ed Morawski: It was definitely a scam. The email address was not rogers. 01:07:31 Ed Morawski: In the case of Bitwarden, you need to have the browser plugin to speed up the login, etc. 01:11:47 Jeff Dubois: I'm using Brave browser. I do allow my browser to save my login credentials on some sites but I do not allow those passwords to be synced between machines. In other words, the browser's password manager is local to the machine only. I do sync my bookmarks however. 01:12:19 Jeff Dubois: Mxtoolbox.com allows you to cut and paste the header info in. 01:12:26 Bob Herres (Heckler): Reacted to "I'm using Brave brow..." with ❤️ 01:12:54 Elizabeth: Is showing the headers the same as "show original"? 01:13:14 Elizabeth: Example: Return-Path: Received: from localhost (LHLO mail.ncf.ca) (127.0.0.1) by mail.ncf.ca with LMTP; Wed, 30 Aug 2023 18:28:40 -0400 (EDT) Received: from spamfilter.ncf.ca (spamfilter.ncf.ca [172.83.172.125]) by mail.ncf.ca (Postfix) with ESMTP id 03B1CC9627 for ; Wed, 30 Aug 2023 18:28:40 -0400 (EDT) Received: from mx1.ncf.ca (mx1.ncf.ca [172.83.172.15]) by spamfilter.ncf.ca (Postfix) with ESMTP id 5D25B3BBD6 for ; Wed, 30 Aug 2023 18:28:39 -0400 (EDT) Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mx1.ncf.ca (Postfix) with ESMTP id 58AAA18EB4 for ; Wed, 30 Aug 2023 18:28:39 -0400 (EDT) 01:13:41 Elizabeth: "Show Original" is available to NCF members.
