00:29:35 Olly Wodin: what do you use as an answering machine/service? 00:30:43 Alan German: My cell plan has voicemail included. 00:31:14 Olly Wodin: I meant for the home phone. I thought that was a land line? 00:33:22 Stewart Bruce: My landline is a Magic jack VOIP. About $70/year, Canada, USA all local, voicemail included with many other features. 00:34:02 Lawrence Patterson: For my Eastlink service, includes Voicemail. 00:34:02 Olly Wodin: If it's a VOIP than it wouldn't work if there's a power outage,, would it? 00:34:25 Stewart Bruce: Correct. 00:34:51 Bob Herres: We use Rogers “internet home phone” w message service 00:35:07 Olly Wodin: Can you check your messages remotely from the local answering machine? 00:35:28 Natalie: Cordless phone won't work if no power either. You need a corded phone in a power outage (or cell). 00:46:38 Karen W-G: She could filter by sender and then choose to delete in bulk by sender . I have found this helpful. 00:47:58 Eldon Gaw: You used to be able to search by name,if say for example she wanted to delete ALLof nicks messages she should be able to search for his name and then click the top one, hold down the shift and go to the bottom one and holdshift and click would all of nicks get a check mark? 00:49:20 Bob Herres: This is Fantastic Wow! But personally I never delete anything, I can search and find emails back to over 20 years old.. as such I can search in the cloud forever)) 00:50:04 Natalie: Do you need to empty the Delete folder to remove from the server? 00:50:16 Jocelyn Doire: filter by "from" 00:50:45 Jocelyn Doire: the search box can help too 00:53:03 Karen W-G: I have that happen in desktop outlook using search, which is why I do by filter, to preserve my other folder contents. 00:53:28 Stewart Bruce: Once she has finished, a server farm somewhere will be out of business . . . 00:53:39 Karen W-G: :) 00:53:45 Natalie: LOL 00:55:46 Lawrence Patterson: Oh, WordPerfect, that brings back memories.... 00:59:01 Chris Taylor: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/p/doxillion-document-converter-free/9p2xndj437f3?activetab=pivot:overviewtab 01:00:20 Chris Taylor: That is the link for the free version of Doxillion in the Microsoft Store (for Windows 10) 01:01:07 Lawrence Patterson: Buy more drives, storage is relatively cheap. That's from the perspective, if you're concerned that you may want to retrieve something, then it's worth either going through the backups, or buy new storage. 01:02:35 Olly Wodin: I just started using an external hard drive. I have some long term files I keep adding to. I change the name of the file now. When the external drive saves everything it skips over files already existing. As I now changed the name of these files it will save these files. 01:07:59 Eldon Gaw: you are not alone Karen. 01:12:09 Chris Taylor: https://opcug.ca/Reviews/BackupPrograms.htm 01:12:24 Chris Taylor: A review of 4 backup programs 01:23:17 Lawrence Patterson: Doubt if Microsoft really knows either! 01:31:23 Gail: thanks! 01:31:45 william Bradwin: Thanks Chris and Alan...Great job as usual! 01:31:53 Karen W-G: Awesome!
