Workshop Content
This fall, the Ottawa PC Users' Group will be offering a full-day workshop on topics of interest to new computer users and those not-so-new users who want to know a little more about their hardware and software systems.

Our hardware expert will discuss current and future computer hardware including chip technologies and the other individual components inside - and outside - the box.

Operating Systems
Find out what Vista has to offer over-and-above the features of Windows XP, how to dual boot Vista and Linux, and much more about your computer's operating system.
|
Open Source Applications
Our "believer" will discuss the concepts behind the open-source movement and show you some of the wide range of available applications that work just as well as their commercial counterparts. All the functionality. None of the cost!
